Terms of service.

Effective: 1 July 2026. Version 2.4. These terms replace all earlier versions.

1. General

1.1 Who we are

1.1.1. The website at goldenbet888.co (the "Site") and the wagering services offered through it (the "Services") are operated by Fortuna Felicitas Pty Ltd (ABN 30 674 922 788 734) ("GoldenBet888", "we", "us", "our"), the holder of Sports Bookmaker Licence No. NT-RWC-SB-2021-0843 granted by the Racing and Wagering Commission of the Northern Territory ("NTRWC") and continued in force under the Racing and Wagering Act 2024 (NT).

1.1.2. Our registered office is at 15 Montclair Avenue, Glen Waverley VIC 3150. We can be contacted at support@goldenbet888.co.

1.2 Application and acceptance

1.2.1. These terms, together with the rules published with each market, the Privacy policy, the Cookies notice and the responsible wagering policies on this Site, form the agreement between each account holder ("Member", "you") and GoldenBet888.

1.2.2. By opening an account, or by placing a wager, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms in full.

1.2.3. Where a sport-specific or code-specific rule published with a market is inconsistent with these general terms, the specific rule prevails to the extent of the inconsistency.

1.2.4. If any provision of these terms is found to be void or unenforceable, that provision is severed and the remainder continues in force.

1.3 Definitions

  • Account — the wagering account opened in your name following verification.
  • Market — a contingency offered for wagering, together with its published rules and prices.
  • Trading Room — the personnel and systems that frame, publish, adjust, suspend and settle Markets.
  • Cut-off — the published time after which wagers on a Market are no longer accepted.
  • Withdrawable Balance — cleared funds in the Account net of pending wagers, unsettled positions and lawful deductions.

2. Membership and eligibility

2.1. Membership is open only to natural persons who are (a) at least 18 years of age, (b) physically located in Australia, and (c) not prohibited from wagering by any law that applies to them or by an exclusion (operator-level or BetStop).

2.2. One Account per person. Opening, operating, controlling or benefiting from more than one Account — directly or through another person — is prohibited and grounds for closure of every associated Account.

2.3. Accounts are personal. You must not permit any other person to access or operate your Account, and you must not operate an Account as agent, trustee or nominee for another person or group, including any betting syndicate not disclosed to and approved by us in writing.

2.4. Every application is screened against the National Self-Exclusion Register (BetStop) before activation, and Accounts are re-screened at sign-in and at key actions. An Account will not be opened, and wagering will not be permitted, for any person registered with BetStop.

2.5. Employees of Fortuna Felicitas Pty Ltd and their immediate household members may not open Accounts. Persons connected with a sporting or racing event (participants, officials, staff of controlling bodies) must not wager on Markets they are connected with, consistent with the rules of the relevant controlling body.

3. Identity verification

3.1. We are required by the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth) and our licence conditions to verify your identity before your first wager is accepted. No bet is accepted, and no withdrawal is paid, on an unverified Account.

3.2. Verification uses the details and documents you supply (for example an Australian driver licence, passport or proof-of-age card) checked through approved electronic verification services. Where electronic verification cannot be completed you will be asked for certified documents.

3.3. We may require re-verification, or additional documents (including proof of address, source of funds or source of wealth), at any time, including before releasing a withdrawal. We may suspend the Account while a request is outstanding.

3.4. You warrant that every detail you give us — name, date of birth, residential address (not a PO Box), contact details and payment instruments — is accurate, current and yours, and you must tell us promptly when any detail changes.

4. Account security

4.1. You are responsible for keeping your username, password and any second factor confidential. Wagers placed through your Account with your credentials are treated as placed by you.

4.2. Multi-factor authentication is required for sensitive Account actions. We recommend enabling it for sign-in as well.

4.3. Notify support@goldenbet888.co immediately if you suspect your credentials are compromised or you notice activity you don't recognise. We will suspend the Account while we investigate.

4.4. Repeated failed sign-in attempts lock the Account temporarily. Contact support to restore access; identity re-verification may be required.

5. Deposits

5.1. Deposits are accepted from eligible Visa and Mastercard debit cards, PayID, BPAY, and Apple Pay or Google Pay where linked to an eligible debit card. The payment instrument must be held in your own name.

5.2. We do not accept: consumer credit cards or credit-linked digital wallets (restricted under the Interactive Gambling Amendment (Credit and Other Measures) Act 2023); cryptocurrency or digital-asset transfers; cash; cheques; or third-party payment instruments.

5.3. Per-method minimum and maximum amounts apply and are displayed at the point of payment. Card, PayID, Apple Pay and Google Pay deposits are generally credited immediately; BPAY clears within one to two business days.

5.4. Deposits count toward any deposit limit you have set, across every channel, in the period they are credited. Attempted deposits above your limit are declined. See Deposit limits.

5.5. Deposited funds must be used for wagering. We are not a bank: the Account must not be used to park, transfer or launder funds, and no interest is payable on balances. Deposits followed by withdrawal with no or minimal wagering activity attract review under our AML/CTF program and may incur reversal to source.

6. Withdrawals

6.1. Withdrawals are paid only to the verified Member, to a verified payment destination in the Member's name — normally the source of deposit where the scheme supports it, otherwise a verified Australian bank account.

6.2. Withdrawals are processed subject to identity verification, payment screening and AML/CTF checks. Once processed, bank settlement typically completes within one to three business days. We charge no withdrawal fees. A minimum withdrawal amount applies and is shown at the point of request.

6.3. We may withhold or delay a withdrawal where required by law, where verification or source-of-funds checks are incomplete, where fraud or a breach of these terms is suspected, or where a Market you have wagered into is under investigation by a controlling body.

7. Chargebacks and reversals

7.1. Initiating a chargeback or payment reversal against a legitimate deposit is a breach of these terms. We may suspend the Account, void wagers funded by the charged-back amount, and recover the amount together with any fee the payment scheme charges us.

7.2. Where a deposit is reversed by a payment provider for reasons outside your control, we will work with you to reconcile the Account; wagers already settled remain settled.

8. Fraud and prohibited conduct

8.1. The following conduct is prohibited and grounds for suspension or closure, voiding of wagers, and withholding of balances pending investigation:

  • multi-accounting, or operating an Account for an undisclosed third party or syndicate;
  • match-fixing, spot-fixing, or wagering with inside information, including by persons connected with an event;
  • courtsiding and the exploitation of transmission delays;
  • use of automated software, bots, scrapers or any non-human means to access the Site, harvest prices or place wagers;
  • abuse of promotions or account features, including coordinated activity across Accounts;
  • presenting falsified documents or another person's identity or payment instrument;
  • any conduct that is unlawful, or that a reasonable bookmaker would consider dishonest or collusive.

8.2. We cooperate with Sport Integrity Australia, racing and sporting controlling bodies, payment schemes and law-enforcement agencies, and may share Account and wagering information with them for integrity, investigative and regulatory purposes.

9. Placement and acceptance of wagers

9.1. A wager exists only when it is displayed as confirmed in the Account. A submitted wager that has not been confirmed is not accepted, whatever the reason.

9.2. All wagers are placed at the price displayed at the moment of acceptance. Fixed odds means fixed: later price movement does not affect an accepted wager.

9.3. Wagers must be placed and confirmed before the Cut-off. A wager the system records after the Cut-off — including where an event has begun — may be voided and the stake returned.

9.4. Consistent with section 8A of the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 (Cth), we do not accept online in-play wagers on sporting events. Markets are suspended at the scheduled start of the event.

9.5. Once accepted, a wager cannot be cancelled or changed by the Member. Check the slip before you confirm.

9.6. The Trading Room may decline any wager in whole or in part, restrict stakes on any Market or for any Member, or suspend any Market at its discretion. Wagers attempted during a suspension are not accepted.

9.7. We may impose per-Member, per-Market and per-event stake limits for integrity, liquidity and responsible-wagering reasons. Any portion of a wager above an applicable limit may be reduced or rejected before acceptance.

10. Settlement

10.1. Markets settle on the official result declared by the relevant controlling body for the listed event. Where the official result is later amended — a protest upheld, a disqualification, a corrected scorecard — settlement follows the standard practice for that Market as stated in its rules.

10.2. General settlement rules:

  • Head-to-head / match result — settled on the competitor officially recorded as the winner. Where the Market states whether extra time, golden point or a super over counts, that statement governs.
  • Line, handicap and margin — the published handicap is applied to the final official score; a result landing exactly on a whole-number line is a push and stakes are returned.
  • Totals — settled on the official aggregate for the stated period; exact whole-number landings are returned.
  • Futures / outrights — settled when the competition concludes; withdrawal of a competitor does not entitle a refund once the Market is open unless its rules state otherwise.
  • Multis — every leg must win; a voided leg is removed and the multi recalculates across the remaining legs at their accepted prices.
  • Dead heats — settled on a proportional stake basis: the stake is divided by the number of dead-heating competitors and paid at full odds on that fraction.

10.3. Racing: win and place Markets settle on the official placings declared by the principal racing authority, including any amendment on protest or stewards' inquiry declared before weigh-in / correct-weight procedures conclude. A scratched runner is refunded; late scratchings in fixed-odds Markets attract deductions in accordance with the published deductions table. Place terms follow the declared field size at the Cut-off.

10.4. Team sports: a fixture abandoned, postponed or relocated outside its listed day is void and stakes returned, unless the fixture completes within the window stated in the Market rules or the Market has already been unconditionally determined.

10.5. Settlement is performed promptly after the official result is available. We may resettle any Market settled in error (including on an incorrect result feed) to the correct outcome, adjusting the Account accordingly; where this produces a negative balance, further wagering is blocked until the balance is restored.

11. Maximum payouts

11.1. Maximum-payout caps apply per wager, per Market, per event and per Member per day, and vary by racing code and sport. The applicable cap is available from support before you bet.

11.2. Where combined winnings would exceed an applicable cap, the payout is limited to the cap. Placing multiple wagers structured to circumvent a cap is prohibited, and we may aggregate such wagers for the purpose of applying it.

12. Errors

12.1. A palpable error is a price, line, handicap or Market condition published materially wrong by obvious mistake — for example inverted prices, a misplaced decimal point, or a line at the wrong figure by a wide margin.

12.2. Wagers accepted at a palpable error may be voided, or resettled at the price generally available at the time of acceptance, as the Market rules provide. Where we intend to rely on this clause we will tell you as soon as practicable.

12.3. Technical failures (duplicate confirmations, malfunctioning displays, feed corruption) are corrected to reflect the wager actually intended and accepted; demonstrable duplicates are voided.

13. Protection of customer funds

13.1. Under the conditions of our NTRWC licence, Member funds are held in one or more Australian trust accounts segregated from our operating funds, and are not used for operational expenditure.

13.2. Segregation protects Member balances in the ordinary course; it is not a government guarantee. Details of the arrangements are available from support on request.

14. Inactive and dormant accounts

14.1. An Account with no customer-initiated sign-in, deposit, wager or withdrawal for a continuous period of twelve (12) months is treated as inactive; after a further notice period it is treated as dormant.

14.2. Before applying any dormancy treatment we write to the contact details on file. Dormant balances are dealt with under NTRWC licence conditions and applicable unclaimed-money legislation, and can be claimed at any time on identity re-verification. We do not charge dormancy fees.

15. Responsible wagering

15.1. Deposit limits, loss and spend limits, reality checks, time-outs, self-exclusion and activity statements are available to every Member. See Responsible wagering, Deposit limits and Self-exclusion and BetStop.

15.2. We monitor accounts for indicators of gambling harm under the Northern Territory Code of Practice for Responsible Service of Online Gambling 2019, and may contact you, apply limits, or suspend or close an Account where continued wagering appears inconsistent with your welfare. Such action is taken in good faith and is not a breach of these terms.

15.3. Gambling Help Online is available 24/7 on 1800 858 858 and at gamblinghelponline.org.au.

16. Intellectual property and permitted use

16.1. The Site, its branding, text, imagery, prices and data are owned by or licensed to Fortuna Felicitas Pty Ltd. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the Site for lawful wagering.

16.2. You must not reproduce, redistribute or commercially exploit prices or data from the Site, frame or mirror the Site, or use any automated means to access it.

17. Privacy

17.1. Personal information is collected, held, used and disclosed in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and our Privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. The Cookies notice explains online tracking.

18. Complaints and dispute resolution

18.1. Complaints go first to complaints@goldenbet888.co: acknowledgement within 1 business day, written outcome within 21 calendar days, senior review on request within a further 14 days. The full process, including external escalation to the NTRWC, AFCA, the OAIC and ACMA, is in the complaints policy.

18.2. Wagering disputes that remain unresolved after internal review may be referred to the Racing and Wagering Commission of the Northern Territory, whose determinations bind us.

19. Liability

19.1. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

19.2. Subject to 19.1, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, special or incidental loss — including loss of profits or anticipated winnings — arising out of use of the Services, Site unavailability, transmission errors, Market errors corrected under clause 12, or third-party acts or omissions.

19.3. Subject to 19.1, our total aggregate liability to a Member is limited to the balance of that Member's Account plus the amount of any wager giving rise to the claim.

19.4. You indemnify us against loss arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of the Services, except to the extent we caused the loss.

20. Suspension and termination

20.1. We may suspend or close an Account for breach of these terms, for regulatory, integrity or AML/CTF reasons, on direction of the NTRWC or another authority, or where continued operation would be inconsistent with our responsible wagering obligations.

20.2. You may close your Account at any time by written request to support. On closure, open wagers settle or are voided under these terms, and the verified Withdrawable Balance is returned to a verified destination in your name.

20.3. We retain transaction, identity and Account records after closure for the periods required by the AML/CTF Act 2006 (Cth), our licence conditions and other applicable laws.

21. Changes, assignment and general

21.1. We may amend these terms. Material changes are notified by email and on-site notice at least thirty (30) days before taking effect; continued use after the effective date is acceptance. Changes required by law, a regulator or licence conditions may take effect immediately on publication.

21.2. Wagers accepted before a change are governed by the terms in force at acceptance.

21.3. We may assign this agreement to a related body corporate or a purchaser of the business that holds the required licences; you may not assign it.

21.4. Neither party is liable for delay caused by events beyond reasonable control (force majeure); Market-level consequences of such events are handled under the settlement rules.

21.5. These terms, the documents referred to in clause 1.2.1 and the rules published with each Market are the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the Services.

22. Governing law

22.1. These terms are governed by the laws of the Northern Territory, Australia. Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Northern Territory and of the Commonwealth of Australia.
